Alpha Watoto Fitness Program
A child-centred fitness and wellness programme promoting healthy routines, emotional regulation, and physical development.
Includes school-term sessions and holiday camps.
The "Start Them Young" Philosophy
Our motto, “Start Them Young,” is rooted in the science of child development. Childhood and adolescence are critical windows for neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to wire itself. By starting early, we ensure that:
Habits for Life: Physical fitness is introduced as a lifelong lifestyle rather than a chore.
Mental Resilience: Children learn that mental well-being is just as important as physical strength, gaining tools to navigate stress and anxiety.
Brain Development: Physical activity releases neurotransmitters that improve focus and reduce anxiety, training the brain to handle stress from a young age.
What Your Child Will Experience
Our high-energy, discipline-focused curriculum is built on four core pillars designed to benefit your child’s daily life:
- Physical Stamina: Building heart health and endurance through HIIT, obstacle courses, and agility drills.
- Discipline through Martial Arts: Using Karate and Judo to teach respect, focus, and technical skills like safe falling.
- Nutrition (Fuel): Guided workshops that teach children to understand “food as information” for their bodies.
- Mindfulness & Wellness: Dedicated sessions for meditation, deep breathing, and emotional regulation.
By starting young, we are not just keeping children busy; we are building a generation that is strong in body, sound in mind, and noble in spirit.
Educating Alpha Watoto on Climate Change Awareness on National Tree Planting Day
On May 11, 2024, in response to President William Ruto’s call for a National Tree Planting Day, the kids from the Alpha Watoto Holiday Program were taught about climate change, including its causes, effects, and the basic study of weather. This education aimed to enable them to understand the importance of planting trees and the significant impact it has on the climate and current climate change. By gaining this knowledge, the children are better equipped to appreciate and engage in environmental conservation efforts, fostering a generation that is more aware and proactive about sustaining our planet.
